Update?

I don't really have a lot to update. Not really anything actually. Tim just said he got sick of looking at my bruise from giving blood and said I should update more. I was introduced to a singer I think Shannon will like. Her name is Meiko. When I made a Pandora station for her another fun artist came up. Her name is Tristan Pennyman. Shannon if you are in the mood for a Colbie Callait vibe from some new artists I recommend them.
Right now it's halftime in the BYU Texas AM game. We're down by 12. Maybe we can pull off a win but I'm not really expecting it. Does anyone know where and when the next round is being played if they were to win?
Harry and Lucy- I would like to hear about your European adventure. Ben Carlson was surprised I wasn't exactly sure of your intinerary, so please keep me updated.

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Top of the afternoon to ya! Today is St Patrick's Day and I have been very festive. To my aerobics class at 8:00 today I wore the shirt my mom got me that says "This is my lucky shirt" the "u" in lucky is a horseshoe. I got a lot of compliments and my teacher loved it. For lunch today we made breakfast: green eggs with ham, green pancakes, and green milk. All was served on green plates. I made the eggs. It was a lot of fun. St Patrick's Day will get a little more
recognition from now on.

I'm Employed!

For those of you who don't have Facebook (Tim, Sam, Jo Ellen, Mont, Elma Leta) or haven't been around my parent's home lately, I got a job. It's a little unconventional but it's going to be very fun. I will be working at Walt Disneyworld from April 28-August 14. My assignment is Quick Service Food and Beverage. That basically means that I will be selling food at a cart or working at a fast food place. I don't know what my exact assignment is but it will be dealing with food. In my phone interview I answered a cashier question very effectively so I think that's what got me the job. (Three pretzels @ 1.50 each, customer gives you a $10, what's the change? I answered it just as she finished asking, she was impressed). I'll be living in BYU approved housing that is part of the Disney program. Rent is taken out on a weekly basis from my paycheck. Hopefully I'll break even. I'm very excited for this adventure and hope to receive many visitors. :)

Round Two

Today I donated blood for the second time in my life. I was expecting it to run just as smoothly as the last one but I was wrong. Luckily I was the first one there so I didn't have to wait in a long line like I did last time. They prick one of your fingers to get a sample of your blood as a preliminary test or what not. I don't remember it bruising last time...After that I sat in the donor chair and hoped the girl performing the procedure was competent. They have you pump your arm to find the best vein. She decided against the vein that has been used twice; once for tests and the other for donating. That should have been my first red flag. After she marked the vein she got the needle ready. In the previously mentioned blood procedures the tech got in the vein on the first try. Not this lady! She poked around a bit which was super uncomfortable. Finally she had another lady come over to find the vein. New lady, "You were there, you just needed to push it in a little farther." Original lady, "I thought I was poking it." She thought that because she was. I'm pretty sure I'll have a bruise on my arm unlike last time which might be cool. I'll keep you updated.

This is what I get for trying to contribute to society. Definitely a Badge of Honor.

Viva Telemundo!

So I'm sitting here in my receptionist chair at Redwood Tax. This is only weird because I don't really have a job here. I'm the stand-in receptionist for the commercial that Dallas is putting on the Spanish channel. I had to point out how to fill out a tax form as part of my acting duties. I nailed it. I could get used to this having a job thing haha

One Year Anniversary

Since I only have a few minutes left in the 23rd day of November I thought it would be appropriate to blog about my only real significant one year anniversary; the day a car drove into Alphagraphics on Main Street in Bountiful while I was inside the building. I figure at 19 that seems like a pretty significant one year mark. Hopefully more fulfilling ones will enter my life eventually. Not too soon though.

Newest Adventure

My latest adventure might come as a shock to some. It was a blind date. I was set up by Dallas and a guy he goes to the U with. It was the guys little brother. His name is Bryson Shreeve, we're engaged. NOT! That little joke was for those of you think BYU is only good for making people fall in love. Meaning that blind dates don't mean instant marriage. I'll be single for a while down here, no need to worry. I think I'll start looking for a job because I realized that 4 years from 19 is kind of a while...Oh well. The date was fun. There were three couples. We went to the boys' apartment and made pizza, then went to the boys basketball game in the Marriott center. I guess it went pretty well as far as blind dates are concerned. The awkward level was pretty low and the fun level was pretty high. As for a second date, I'm not sure. He did just add me as a friend on Facebook today. That means things are getting pretty serious. That's all for now.

As a side note, if I were Kate, today would be my wedding day.

YIKES!
